Sorensen Welding, Inc. Started in a 40×60 rented shop in the winter of 2000/2001. From the early beginnings with just one welder, a torch and a few loyal local customers. Poul had to also drive school bus part time to keep the welding business going.

Sorensen Welding, Inc. has recieved a tremendous amount of support from the local farmers in the Mahnomen and surrounding areas. The business quickly outgrew the rented shop and is now a 30,000 sq. ft. building. We also now have several full and part time employees.

We have acquired a full line of CNC equipment, including a lathe, a 4kw laser as well as a plasma table. All the prodcuts are now sold in the USA as well as Eastern European countries including Russia.
